Your opportunity:
DCCP | Deutsche Credit Capital Partners is a European, Germany-headquartered, bank-independent Private Debt platform focussing on mid-market transactions, complementing banks’ traditional products with alternative strategies and institutional money. As part of a young and dynamic team within our Frankfurt office, you will have the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the areas of direct lending, leveraged & structured finance, capital markets, asset management and private equity related transactions. Within our origination and investment deal team, you will work together with experienced colleagues from the corporate & investment banking and asset management industry and actively participate in financing transactions with both corporate and private equity clients located in Germany / DACH and across Europe.
Your tasks:
- Analysis and execution of complex financing transactions with corporate and private equity clients
- Desktop research and due diligence for primary and secondary market transactions
- LBO and cash flow-based lending modelling and preparation of credit investment papers
- Collaboration in the further development and implementation of projects
- Assistance in investor relations, roadshows and fundraising meetings
- Performing market research on institutional investors, capital market partners and target companies
- Initial preparation of term sheets and first contact with credit facility documentation
- Support the ongoing management and monitoring of our existing lending exposures
- Additionally, you will be involved in strategic business development, fundraising and the implementation of further projects
Your profile:
- At least one year of relevant work experience in similar positions in corporate finance and fund industry (preferably private debt, leveraged finance or cash flow-based structuring / lending) would be a plus
- Relevant internship experience ideally in the areas of leveraged finance, M&A, strategy consulting, private equity / debt or transaction services
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree (or higher) with focus on corporate finance, financial management, accounting, or similar subjects and an excellent academic performance
- Advanced knowledge in the areas of accounting, company valuation and financial modelling
- Structured working approach and strong analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in German and English language, written and oral
- Highly motivated team-player who seeks to work in a creative and challenging environment and approach tasks reliably and independently
