Dr. Nicolaus Loos

Dr. Nicolaus Loos is Managing Partner, Founder & CIO of DCCP.

Prior to founding DCCP, Nicolaus was Head of Banking & Markets at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, responsible for all banking and capital markets activities. During his time as Head of European Leveraged & Corporate Structured Finance, he built up the bank’s mid-cap corporate & acquisition finance lending businesses across Europe. Before joining IKB, Nicolaus was with Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan in the Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Coverage Groups in London, New York and Frankfurt.

Nicolaus holds a Master degree from HHL Leipzig, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney and received a doctoral degree in Finance & Economics from the University of St. Gallen on the topic of “Value Creation in Leveraged Buyouts”.
